APRIL 1 THE TURTLES ARE AWAKE!
Sunday 2 p.m.
(All Ages) The turtles are out of hibernation and ready for spring! Come meet our resident box turtles, learn some facts and observe their hungry appetites after their long winter naps. Free.

APRIL 8 CLOSED FOR EASTER

APRIL 13 ANIMAL ADVENTURES: RABBITS
Friday 1-2 p.m.
(Ages 3-6) Meet at the library for a fictional story then walk to the Zion Nature Center to learn the real facts about rabbits. Weekday parking is not allowed at the nature center. Register at 873-3149 Ext. 11600 or www.zionsville.lib.in.us. Free.

APRIL 14 ANIMALIA: WILD ABOUT ANIMALS
Saturday 1 p.m.
(All Ages) The Friends of Zion Nature Center will host ANIMALIA at the Zionsville Town Hall located at 1100 W. Oak St. Get up close and personal with live wild animals from around the world. This program is free and is generously sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Zionsville.

APRIL 17 SPRING WILD FLOWER HIKE
Tuesday 11 a.m.
(Adults) Join us for a spring hike in Zionsville’s Starkey Nature Park. Myrene Brown will lead this hike where we will explore the beauty of native wildflowers. Experience spring at its finest as you learn to identify wildflowers and the role they play in healthy habitats. APRIL 22 Z’GreenFest
Sunday 2-5 p.m.
(All Ages) Celebrate Earth Day/Arbor Day at our 6th annual Z’GreenFest. The Friends of Zion Nature Center and Boone REMC are sponsoring this festival featuring over 30 organizations that inspire “green” living. There will be non-stop musical entertainment, hands-on activities, live animals, and games for all ages to enjoy. This event will take place at the Zion Nature Center located at 690 Beech St. (Rain location: Zionsville Town Hall, 1100 W. Oak St). APRIL 24 SPRING MIGRATION BIRD HIKE
Tuesday 8 a.m.
(Adults) Join us for a spring migration bird hike at Zionsville’s Starkey Nature Park. Local birder Rob Ripma will lead us in search of resident and migrant birds. This hike is for both beginning and advanced birders. APRIL 28 & 29 SPRING BINGO
Saturday 10a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday 12-5 p.m.
(All Ages) See & enjoy the signs of spring while playing a game of “Spring Bingo”. Stop by the Zion Nature Center during open hours to pick up your playing card.
