Fertility and Family Building Fair registration opens this week

The first annual Fertility and Family Building Fair will be hosted by the Indiana Collaboration for Families with Infertility this April in conjunction with National Infertility Awareness Week.

Registration for the fair begins March 1. The fair will feature fertility specialists, maternal and child health specialists and financial resources focusing on fertility care such as insurance and financial planning.

ICFI will feature Peter “Pete the Planner” Dunn as the keynote speaker for the event. Dunn will give a lecture at 6pm April 24 about “Financially Planning for Family Building” which will include topics such as planning for fertility treatments and alternative options such as adoption.

Other presentations include Assisted Reproductive Technologies, a panel of complementary and alternative medical providers, an adoption and fostering informational session and a mental-health session.

The fair is scheduled for April 24 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fountains Banquet Center in Carmel, 502 E. Carmel Dr. The fair is free to all attendees and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. To register for the event visit, www.myicfi.org/fertility-fair . Registration opens March 1st.
