Susan Ziel has been elected the 44th Board Chair of the Carmel Chamber of Commerce. Ziel is a nurse attorney and partner with the law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP where she is a Core Member of both the Health Care and Life Sciences Practice Groups.
Ziel is a graduate of Madonna University’s School of Nursing, the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health and the University of South Carolina’s School of Law. She is active in numerous professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Medical Group Management Association, the Health Care Compliance Association, the National Association of Medical Staff Services and Sigma Theta Tau, an international nursing honor society.
In addition, Ziel is the current Chairperson of the American Heart Association Midwest Affiliate’s Circle of Red and has also served as the Past President of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys, the Executive Women in Health Care and the Mental Health Association of Hamilton County (Indiana).
