A special one-day holiday ticket package is now available for the 2012 BMW Championship at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel. The holiday package includes two, any day championship round tickets and two lanyards with ticket holders, all for just $150. The tickets are good for any one day during tournament week, Thursday, Sept. 6, through Sunday, Sept. 9.
The holiday package is being limited to the first 3,000 purchases and is only available through December 31, 2011. Starting Jan. 1, 2012, only weekly ticket options will be available.
“The response from Indiana golf fans since our weekly ticket packages went on sale this past September has been great,” said Vince Pellegrino, WGA vice president of tournaments. “We expect this holiday package to sell out quickly, as this is the only package we anticipate offering for single day, non-date-specific tickets. This package also affords our Chicago fans the opportunity to travel to Crooked Stick for a day or two and not be faced with deciding whether to make a week-long commitment to attend the championship.”
The annual BMW Championship – the third of four events in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup – is a battle for the tournament’s famed J.K. Wadley Trophy, a $1.44 million winner’s check and the final 30 spots in the TOUR Championship, where players compete for the FedExCup’s $10 million first prize.

All net proceeds from the BMW Championship benefit the Evans Scholars Foundation, which funds college scholarships for caddies. Since 2007, the BMW Championship has raised more than $11 million for the Evans Scholarships, helping hundreds of caddies from modest means earn their college degrees.
