“A Brenda Lee Christmas” concert has been cancelled. According to tour managers for Brenda Lee, the recording artist will not be able to perform at the Palladium on December 11, 2011. Medical reasons were cited for the cancellation.
The management team at the Center for the Performing Arts is notifying ticket holders for exchanges or refunds. Guests are asked to return all tickets by Nov. 1, 2011. For more information, contact the box office at 317-843-3800.
The remaining concerts in the “Holiday Series sponsored by BKD, LLP” are not affected by the Brenda Lee cancellation. Highlights include concerts by Vienna Boys Choir, Chanticleer and Boston Brass. Additional holiday performances by the Center’s resident companies include: Holiday Memories (Indiana Wind Symphony), “A Christmas Carol” (Carmel Repertory Theater), Holidays with Angela (Carmel Symphony Orchestra) and Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka” (Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre).
