Drug Task Force makes arrest

On Wednesday, the Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force arrested James Haste, 30, of the 400 block of North Stockton St. in Jamestown.

After a month long investigation, the drug task force executed a search warrant at Haste’s residence. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Class D felony; possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor; and arrested on an outstanding warrant for theft.

The drug task force was assisted by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office and the Jamestown Police Department. Haste was transported to the Boone County Jail.

The drug task force is comprised of officers from the Carmel, Fishers and Lebanon police departments and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. More arrests are anticipated as a result of this investigation.
