Registration for kindergarten students and first graders new to Westfield Washington Schools will be held on March 17, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at each elementary school.
To register, a child must be five years of age or older on September 1 to enter kindergarten. Due to the growth in our school district there will be no waivers issued.
To register a student, bring the child’s birth certificate, Social Security number, proof of residency (a copy of the purchase, lease/rental agreement or utility bill), Indiana driver’s license or a copy of a filed IRS form), adoption papers (if applicable), custody papers (if applicable), immunization records, and emergency contact information.
The district offers half-day kindergarten. The morning session is 8:45 – 11:15 a.m. and the afternoon session is 12:40 – 3:10 p.m. The district does offer a fee-based extended kindergarten program, BKB – Beyond the Kindergarten Bell and BAC – Before & After Care.
