The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 511 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 35,712 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus, following corrections.
As of today, 41 percent of ICU beds and more than 83 percent of ventilators are available.
A total of 2,032 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 10 since yesterday. Another 175 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 277,815 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 271,919 on Tuesday.
