On May 28, Gramercy Apartments in Carmel emailed Hamilton County Clerk Kathy Williams to state that “we are not able to extend the use of our facility for the Primary Election.”
The apartment clubhouse served as a voting location for the Mohawk Hills Precinct.
“Unfortunately, the timing couldn’t be worse,” Williams stated. “It’s too late to mail a notice to the voters affected.”
The polling place will be moved to the First Baptist Church, 1010 E 126th St., Carmel, with two other precincts.
