Local attorneys Kimberly Jeselskis, B.J. Brinkerhoff and Hannah Kaufman Joseph have partnered to form a new Indianapolis law firm, Jeselskis Brinkerhoff and Joseph, LLC, also known as JBJ Legal.

JBJ Legal provides full-service legal representation to entrepreneurs, individuals and growth-oriented organizations for their business, employment and litigation needs.

The three attorneys previously worked at Katz Korin Cunningham in Indianapolis and decided they wanted to establish a firm of their own in August 2019 to offer a more “innovative legal practice,” said Kaufman Joseph, a Carmel resident.

“We just had a different vision for what we would have liked to see with our practice,” Kaufman Joseph said. “We got to the point where it made the most since for us to part ways. A larger boat is harder to turn.”

Kaufman Joseph said the JBJ Legal attorneys saw an opportunity to present legal services in a more efficient way, such as using automation and technology-based marketing.

JBJ Legal is at 350 Massachusetts Avenue, Suite 300, and operates out of a coworking space, Industrious Mass Ave.

“The space itself is just full of a lot of energy,” Brinkerhoff said. “One of the things we like is being around that energy. While I don’t think it’s a permanent home for us, it has been a good spot for us to launch our firm and not have to worry about some of the headaches that most businesses have to deal with.”

Kaufman Joseph said the location allows the firm to integrate within the community, an important goal for the firm.
