Bub’s Café will serve its last customers Oct. 30, owner Matt Frey announced in a Facebook post Oct. 28.
“We survived 12 years. That’s pretty rare in the food business,” Frey said. “Look for a breakfast concept down at the burger shop probably in the spring.”
Bub’s Café opened in May 2007 at 220 2nd St. SW along the Monon Trail. It is approximately a quarter mile south of Bub’s Burgers and Ice Cream, which opened in May 2003 at 210 W. Main St. Bub’s Burgers also has restaurants in Zionsville, Westfield and Bloomington.
Bub’s Café is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
