The gala will be holding a silent auction with vacation tickets, Purdue football tickets, Shedd Aquarium tickets and more. There will also be live entertainment from Kristin and Danny; a comedian couple.

Lori Buzzetti, the founder and president of So Big and the Mountain House, is excited for the gala.

“I love connecting with people that have a passion for So Big and sharing this dream that God gave me,” Buzzetti said.

Dinner with Maggiano’s and an open bar will be included with the purchase of a ticket.

Tickets are $75 per person, or $650 for a table of ten people. Tickets are available at sobig.org/events.

The goal for the event is to raise $125,000, and the Mountain House has a donor that will match $50,000 of the money.

Buzzetti is hoping to fill all 270 spots that the venue holds.

“[It’s to] support pregnant women that don’t have a stable place to live,” Buzzetti said.

The Mountain House Maternity Home gives shelter, prenatal care, and connects pregnant women with the resources they need.

So Big is a religion-based organization that is dedicated to help unexpected pregnancies. The Mountain House Maternity Home was created by So Big, with the help of New Hope Christian Church, in Whitestown, Indiana, as a shelter that women can stay.

In addition to the gala and registering for the auction, people are also welcomed to give donations, sign up to volunteer and purchase thing off an Amazon Wish List that can be found on the So Big website. The volunteer efforts help to put together a meal train on Fridays for those who need it.
