Matt and Sky Andrews recently relocated to the Carmel area and brought their passion for yoga with them. Sol Hot Yoga Studio is now open at 7246 E. 146th Street in Carmel, and it aims to provide a unique private experience for yoga practitioners of all levels.
“Both of us have a strong sense of courageous optimism and the desire to build stronger communities,” Sky said. “The essence of yoga is natural fit for us in so many ways.”
The Andrews’ hope that Matt’s recent MBA from the University of Virginia combined with Sky’s 10 years of yoga teaching experience will bring a resilient business plan and harmonious yoga community to the area.
Sol Hot Yoga emphasizes one-on-one classes to deepen personal practice.
“The key is not what you’re doing but how you’re being when you’re doing it, regardless of the type of class or level of skill,” Sky said.
She encourages clients of all levels to invest their time in a private lesson, not just beginners. No matter how experienced a person is in yoga, there is always more to learn and more to deepen, she said. Sol Hot Yoga’s offerings, which also include group classes, can be found at yogigotsol.com.
