Ruoff’s summer concert season set to start with Slayer, The Who

The complete season lineup of concerts at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center season begins this week with headlining shows, including Slayer May 16, The Who May 18, and continues through September with other big acts, including Jason Aldean, Kid Rock, Adam Sandler, Santana, KISS, Hootie & The Blowfish, Wiz Khalifa, Impractical Jokers and more.
Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center also has announced new food offerings, including Questlove’s vegetarian spin on the classic Philly cheesesteak, Lady Gaga and Michelle Obama’s Art Bird fried chicken, gourmet hotdogs and sausages from Dog Haus and Live Nation’s new signature cocktails curated by world-class mixologist Sean Kenyon.
The Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center facilities have received upgrades in preparation for the 2019 season. The venue now has state-of-the-art LED lawn screens that are 30 percent larger, brand new overhead fans in the pavilion, new digital traffic signage, new restroom facilities and renovations to current restrooms and more.
In addition, the venue has a list of new product offerings including an improved “fast lane” and a “no bag express lane” for quicker entry, new and improved premiere parking, a reserved seating section on the lawn for select shows and a new overlook deck.
Additionally, the venue is continuing its sustainability efforts with the return of “Sustainability Rocks.” As part of this program, Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center and other Live Nation venues deployed more 900 Zero Waste Stations, eliminated plastic straws, installed water refill stations and implemented venue-wide compost programs.
“The 2019 Summer Concert Season is chock-full of the world’s biggest names representing multiple genres from country to rock to hip-hop to comedy this year at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center“ Tom Mendenhall, vice president of Live Nation Indiana stated in a press release. “We are very proud to continue to bring the best in live entertainment to central Indiana for 31 seasons, and we look forward to carrying on this tradition for many years to come.”
