Indy Eye Physicians recently expanded into Hamilton County.
The eyecare provider has offices in Peru, Kokomo and Logansport. It opened its newest location in downtown Westfield at 322 W. Main St., Suite 200.
The new office is on the second floor of the old Westfield Washington Schools Administration building. It is directly above the Indy Dental Group office.
“When Riverview Hospital in Westfield started going up we wanted to be close to them,” Indy Eye Physicians Dr. Shaun Swindler said. “We are credentialed there and most of our surgical providers are at their facility.”
Two ophthalmologists and one optometrist will offer full-service optical care, including eye exams, glasses and contact lens sales and fittings and treatment for cataracts, glaucoma and other eye diseases. Cosmetic and reconstructive eye surgery also will be offered.
“I have been pushing and trying to come and serve the Westfield area,” Swindler said. “This area is growing and our goal is to help patients.”
Swindler each doctor in the new office has specialized skill sets.
“This is a one-stop shop because we take care of everything from a glasses perspective to cosmetic stuff, and we take care of patients in general and serve the community,” he said.
