For the second year in a row, the Noblesville Marching Millers earned first place against 43 other marching bands across the state on Aug. 4.
The Millers all but swept in their first performance of their annual show, “Beowulf,” where they also earned first place and won awards for best music, best visual, best general effect and best auxiliary.
Their final evening performance scored a record-setting 93.35.
Just one week prior, on July 28, the Marching Millers grabbed first place against 22 other bands at the Black and Gold Invitational, hosted at Noblesville High School.
