Williams has been at CHS for 14 years and has been teaching for 40 years.

“He has been instrumental in nearly quadrupling the number of students taking AP courses and more than doubling the number of dual credit courses offered,” stated CCS Supt. Nicholas Wahl in a message sent out March 10. “Mr. Williams also introduced the International Baccalaureate program to the high school in 2006.”

Wahl said the district will begin a search for a new principal immediately. CCS will host several community forums to gather feedback from parents, staff and students to help develop a “leadership profile” for the next principal, he stated.
