Jerome W. Chambers was honored Friday as the second artist to be featured in the “Art in Town Hall” exhibit.
Chambers’ work is now on display atFishersTown Hall,1 Municipal Dr., and will run through April 1.
The Fishers resident is a self-taught artist, whose displayed works include oil paintings, photography and fine art prints. The exhibit, “Connectivity: A Fusion of Elements,” includes images of water, land, fire, humanity and spirit, which “represents creation in a visional way.”
The Fishers Arts Council is accepting applications for artists to be featured in the “Art in Town Hall” exhibit. To apply, submit an artist’s statement and biography, connection to Fishers and no more than 10 digital images of artist’s work to Lisa Sirkin Vielee at [email protected]. Applications can also be submitted by mail to Lisa Sirkin Vielee, Fishers Arts Council, 1 Municipal Dr., Fishers, IN 46038. Artists are encouraged to develop and apply as artist teams.
