Baker Hill may lose tax abatements

The Carmel City Council will hold a special meeting Thursday night to hear a resolution finding the Baker Hill Corporation in substantial non-compliance with commitments it made in a 2007 application for property tax abatements.

If passed, the resolution could strip those abatements, valued at $216,000 over their 10-year term.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
