In a unanimous vote Monday night, the Fishers Town Council appointed Deputy Town Manager Scott Fadness as the town’s new manager.

Fadness fills a vacancy left by former town manager Gary Huff, who resigned his position on March 10 citing a desire to explore other challenges.

“I’m just thrilled to work with the team we already have, and the residents to exceed their expectations,” Fadness said.

Fadness has been with the Town of Fishers since 2006, serving as deputy town manager overseeing public works. He has Masters in public administration from Indiana University’s School of Environmental Affairs.
