The Carmel Street Department has completed salting and plowing the main roads (as of 3:30 p.m. January 11) and have begun clearing secondary roads.
Carmel did receive a little more than three inches of snow already, so after the secondary roads are clear and open, crews will begin an all-city plow. They will work through the night to make sure streets are clear for the morning rush hour.
